The Paddle Centre: Lessons

Lessons available Wednesday to Sundays. Hours and Days of operation may change.

Participants are to wear appropriate clothing, raingear and proper footwear. A change in clothing and footwear is recommended. Please remember to bring a water bottle, sunscreen and a hat. We supply the Life Jackets (PFD’s) as well as appropriate sized paddles. Upon arrival please meet with your instructor at the Paddle Centre, located in the Day Use area.

Canoe or Single/Double Kayak

Small Group	4 or more	60 min	$25 plus tax
Large Group	12 or more	90 min	$25 plus tax
Family Rate	5 or more people receive 10% off the Total Cost

Voyager Tours
Minimum 10 people, Maximum number of Paddlers 12 (2-3 children can fit in-between the center seats.)

Lesson	Includes	Duration	Cost per person
Introduction to the Voyager	Lesson on basic strokes, and a Paddle in the channel.	60 min	$20 plus tax
Voyager Excursion	Lesson on basic strokes and a Longer paddle in the channel. Depending on the group and their skills we may paddle around the island.	3 hours	$35 plus tax

Information Required at Booking:
- Number of participants
- Preferred dates and times
- Boat type (canoe, single kayak, double kayak or Voyager Canoe)
Credit Card number is required to confirm booking.

Policies

48 hour notice is required for confirmation of final participant numbers for all lessons.
Payment due in full on day of lesson.
48 hours notice required for cancellations. Cancellations within the 48 hour period before the lesson commences are subject to a $10 administration fee.
Full charge for a no-show.
Waivers must be signed by all participants at the start of the lesson. Participants under the age of 19 must have the waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
